I came across this amazing little golden recipe while looking for something to get over the snack attack I was having on my low carb diet. This is not my recipe.. however it is one of my favorite snacks that has really helped me during my "I really want to munch moments" It is JUST Parmesan cheese... Can You believe it?? Now when you shop for your Parmesan cheese make sure you look on the back of the container and make sure it is zero carb. Some cheeses have more milk and are not aged the same way. So you will see some that say one carb. I will post a sample pic of what I bought at Shoprite.
Okay for the SUPER EASY RECIPE!! Put a small amount( about a teaspoon per crisp) of shredded Parmesan cheese and place a about 1/2 inch apart on a plate lined with parchment paper. Microwave for 30 seconds. Let Cool for 30 seconds and there you have crispy tasty yummy zero carb snacks!!
(For anyone who does not have a microwave , Just place on parchment paper on pan and bake for several minutes until lightly brown and toasty looking. Let cool .)
